Streaming History (2017)

From ice skating and ice harvesting to fishing, car-washing, or simply “bridge sitting,” the DuPage River has attracted Napervillians for generations. Streaming History, installed along the Riverwalk near the Water Street development, depicts activities along the riverbank, in the surrounding countryside, and at the center of town, from pre-settlement to the 21st Century. The series was originated and installed by Marquette Properties in conjunction with the development of Water Street District and could not have been completed without research and visual references provided by Naper Settlement.
