Green Eggs & Ham (2009)

One of the all-time-favorite best-selling children’s books in the English language takes center stage in the second piece of the Dr. Seuss Tribute Collection. This playful sculpture features the book’s main character, Sam-I-Am, balancing a plate of green eggs and ham on a gloved stick above his head.

Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel) is remembered for his illustrated children’s books with playful rhymes and bizarre characters. Geisel was the son of a zookeeper who brought home horns, beaks, and feathers from zoo animals which inspired his future stories.
