The Cat in the Hat (2007)

Generations of children are invited to play with Dr. Seuss’s beloved children’s book character, The Cat in the Hat. On the 50th anniversary of the book’s release, Century Walk purchased one of nine The Cat in the Hat sculptures from the Dr. Seuss Tribute Collection. As a nationally recognized “kid-friendly” community known for our outstanding schools and award-winning public libraries, Naperville is the perfect setting for this piece. With this quirky sculpture, we celebrate storytelling and imagination, and most of all, we encourage our young visitors to dream.
