Mr. & Mrs. Naperville (2009)

Footsteps from the carillon, a copper sculpture commemorates one of Naperville’s most influential couples, Harold and Margaret Moser, whose legacy of entrepreneurship and philanthropy has forever changed our community.

Harold Moser established The Naperville Sun newspaper in 1935, Moser Lumber Company by 1946, and later Macom Corporation, which ultimately developed over one-third of Naperville homesites and more than 25 of its subdivisions. Happily married for 52 years, Harold and Margaret died within a week of each other in Dec. 2001.
