A series of murals in the Van Buren parking garage features the artwork of high school students from all five Naperville High Schools. The murals capture the spirit of each school, reflect shared values and visions for the future, and are designed to help visitors remember where they parked. Local muralist, Timm Etters, oversaw the KidsMatter-sponsored project, and Diosdado “Dodie” Mondero led its restoration in 2022. KidsMatter is a non-profit organization that aims to educate and promote Developmental Assets in youth.
